About Project Pink
Project Pink is a women’s cancer support group established in south
of Manila.
It is affiliated with Carewell (Cancer Support and Wellness) Community Foundation, Inc. based in Makati City. Carewell is the only international affiliate of “The Wellness Community” (TWC) in Southeast Asia. TWC was founded in 1982 in the United States by Dr. Harold H. Benjamin based on the “active Patient” concept. In 2007, TWC served over 100,000 persons with cancer and their loved ones in over 100 locations worldwide.
Our vision is to create a cancer resource centre and support network for those currently battling cancer, survivors, their caregivers and loved ones. It hopes to support and educate women who are financially challenged in various communities on cancer awareness. Today, the “home” of Project Pink is in Asian Hospital, who has partnered with us and made Project Pink as the official cancer support group of Asian Hospital.
